Entrance Exams

Welcome to the Academy! At Name Duel Academy you will have a chance to show us your skills and by your skills you will be placed in a dormitory which you deserve. To make it fair for both non-meta and meta types of players we have 2 parts to the dueling exam and a short written exam on basic rulings and such.

This test decides where in the academy you start off and from there on of course you will have the opportunity to rank up into higher dorms and hopefully pro league. This test only opens your path into the 3 dorms not the hidden or league so you will have something to aim for.

We have plenty of testers so make sure to contact them for a test. This is the list of current testers with their dueling network usernames and forum.


What do we grade you on? On your skill level of course and knowledge of the game. It seems that deck construction doesn't matter much since everything in the meta is pretty much same and you can easily net deck. We have a special rubric that we use and which you should look over before consulting to your tester about your duel.

Top Dorm: 90+
Middle Dorm: 65+
Lowest Dorm: 64-

Bonus Minus or Plus: 0/2 Info of this will be closed but the tester will know when to give these points to you But you don't, Hah!

What will your tester be using against you? We have a various amounts of decks for the testers to use when testing you. These decks will be chosen by your tester. This rule and concept is applied to insure fairness and equality when it comes to meta or not meta, tier or not.
